At Nicos-Mangini, each project arises from continuous dialogue with customer and a perfect balance between technical, production, and research departments. Our goal? To create customized solutions, designed to meet specific needs that the traditional market cannot fulfill quickly and in full compliance with regulations.
Thanks to 70 years of experience, technological innovation, and excellent certifications (such as seismic certification), we offer the highest standards of technical and organizational quality.
This approach allows us to develop a strong and lasting relationships with our customers, based on trust and collaboration. Because the true value of a custom project is not just the final product, but the path we build together.
Nicos' Cleanroom Windows are double-glazed and fit flush with both surfaces of the wall panel system. Each unit consists of two panels of 3+3 mm double-layered, laminated safety glass, with a PVB (polyvinyl butyral) film laminated between the layers for added strength and durability. The windows are completely silicone-sealed and incorporate a micro-perforation profile with an integral silica gel moisture absorption system to prevent condensation. Designed to meet the stringent cleaning and hygiene requirements of cleanroom environments, the system ensures fog-free visibility. Additionally, the option of rounded or square corners enhances both the strength and aesthetics of the cleanroom window units.

Their strategic placement helps remove contaminants at floor level, preventing particles from recirculating within the cleanroom. In cleanrooms using unidirectional airflow, low returns work with HEPA-filtered air supplies to create a downward air movement that sweeps contaminants toward the floor, where they are efficiently removed. Nicos offer slow air returns in various configurations:
Double Walls: A second wall is installed parallel to the main wall, with an opening at the floor level to allow air to be drawn from below.
Double Glazing: Following the same principle as double walls, but using glass, these returns offer enhanced visibility, making it easier to identify potential obstructions to airflow.
False Columns feature a cutout at the bottom of the column, covered by a grille, serving as a low air return.
Nicos-Mangini’s In-Wall Steel Supporting Systems provide a robust solution for cleanrooms with specific structural and safety requirements. These systems are necessary in areas requiring seismic resistance and for cleanrooms with very high walls, where additional support is essential to maintain stability. Designed to enhance the structural integrity of cleanroom walls, this system incorporates reinforced steel pipes strategically placed within the wall structure. This reinforcement ensures greater durability, minimizes structural movement, and helps maintain the cleanroom’s integrity over time. By providing increased resistance to external forces, Nicos-Mangini’s In-Wall Steel Supporting Systems contribute to a safer and more reliable cleanroom environment.
Contact us to learn moreA self-standing cleanroom ceiling is an independent structural system that does not rely on the facility’s existing building framework for support. This option is particularly valuable in situations where it is not feasible or is overly complex to tie the cleanroom ceiling to the building's ceiling. It would be an ideal option for leased spaces, temporary cleanrooms, or facilities with weight restrictions on the existing ceiling
Contact us to learn moreNicos installation team frequently receives requests to integrate monitors and accessories into wall panels. Unless specified otherwise by the customer, these integrations are designed with a flush transition between the wall and the accessory, ensuring easy cleanability. Monitors can be incorporated into cleanroom walls or workstations to provide real-time tracking of critical parameters, such as room temperature and humidity, or to monitor specific manufacturing process parameters.
Contact us to learn moreNicos wall panels are delivered from the factory with pre-installed conduits and cutouts for utilities, streamlining the installation process and enhancing both efficiency and cost-effectiveness. These prefabricated panels arrive ready for installation, eliminating the need for on-site cutting, drilling, or modifications, which can delay project timelines. When upgrading an existing cleanroom, avoiding these operations is even more critical, as they can generate dust and compromise the cleanroom environment.
Contact us to learn moreThe raised floor is required for cleanrooms with stringent cleanliness requirements. This system consists of an elevated platform with an open space underneath, allowing air to be aspirated. In laminar airflow cleanrooms, raised floors with perforated tiles or grates facilitate consistent downward airflow, directing contaminants away from critical work areas. By drawing air uniformly from every square foot of the floor, a raised floor creates a more uniform airflow throughout the cleanroom compared to systems with low air returns located along the perimeter walls. This system is particularly effective in maintaining a high level of cleanliness in large rooms. Additionally, raised floors help isolate vibrations, providing protection for sensitive equipment and preventing disruptions to critical processes.
